我們都知道可以用”lucky”、”Fortunately”來表示幸運,但永遠都只會用這幾個單字也未免太遜了!而且幸運有很多種情況,像是死裡逃生、逃過一劫,這些詞彙可就不適用了!

1. It’s a good thing (that…) – 這是一件好事。


若你的朋友出了車禍,但幸好人並沒有受傷,便可以說

”It’s a good thing that they were not hurt. We must thank God for it.”



2. It’s just as well – 幸好


托福例句: It’s beginning to rain, it’s just as well that we brought our umbrellas.

開始下雨了,幸好我們有帶傘。

4. As luck would have it… – 碰巧、走運


托福例句:We ran out of petrol on the way home, but as luck would have it, we were very near a garage.

托福例句:Unless I have a stroke of luck, I’m not going to finish this report by tomorrow.

這個片語用於剛剛在附近發生了災難,而我們碰巧錯開了。
